“I think I finally understand what it means  to do what you love. I’d like to say I do this for other people, for my customers. But really, I do it for me. I hope others find some of the joy I have
in making each piece as they find its place in their homes.”

Wayne Cordrey is the artisan behind the woodwork and furniture carrying the Sticks and Stones name. He's lived in the Columbia River Gorge since 1988. His work reflects his love of casual living and his connection to the natural world.

ARTISAN WOODWORKING

Wayne is continually working to bring fun and useful furniture to folks with an eye for artistic flare.

“I think the value in my furniture is that for no more than the cost of mass-merchandised pieces; you can have a well-made, hand-crafted piece, where a single artisan works out the design, selects the wood, and performs every step of creating each piece.

That’s what I do.  That’s what I love.”
